From one mama to another

“This isn’t just about pajamas. It’s about rest, ease, and showing up as the mom you want to be. Even after a sleepless night.” – Stacey

Our Favourite Bedtime Story: Dreaming up Sunday Littles

😴 Tired mom

Like so many new moms, I thought the hard part would be giving birth. Nothing prepared me for the sleepless nights that followed. I would get sunset scaries, dreading the hours ahead. My baby wasn't sleeping and neither was I. She was constantly crying. Her skin was inflamed and red. I was exhausted, anxious and felt completely lost.

😰 Anxious mom

Every Google search led me down another rabbit hole and soon, the word every parent fears most, SIDS, filled my feed and consumed my thoughts. I tried everything: the Nanit camera that barely connected, the Owlet sock with its overheating stories. Nothing helped. I looked in the mirror one morning and barely recognized myself… and that’s when I thought back to how I was raised.

🌿 Hopeful mom

My parents were immigrants from India. We didn’t have much, but somehow, they made us feel like we had everything. They gave us what they could — with a smile — even when their eyes told a different story. They raised us with simplicity. Warmth. Intuition. Trust.

No more gadgets or glitchy apps; something timeless and safe.

🤍 Simple mom

One thing they never compromised on was what touched our skin. In India, there’s a strong emphasis on absorbing toxins from synthetic fabrics. So no matter how tight the budget, we always wore natural, non-synthetic fabrics. Our clothes were reworn often and very faded, but they were clean, breathable, and safe.

It was a magical, wonderful childhood.

✈️ Driven mom

I was searching for peace of mind. I knew bamboo fabrics helped regulate temperature and were gentle on skin, but I wanted something better. Softer. Safer. More durable.

So I travelled over 18,000 km from Vancouver to partner with ethical and family owned manufacturers who shared the same values as Sunday Littles.

🧵 Picky mom

Then came the obsessive testing: I tried hundreds of fabrics, tweaking GSM weights, switching yarn finishes, pushing for breathability, durability, and the silkiest hand feel, all while still being sustainable. I didn’t stop until I was confident enough to put it on my daughter.

💫 Happy mom

And that’s when it happened. She slept. All night. No more flushed cheeks. No more tossing and turning. No more 2 a.m. pacing.  NO MORE SUNSET SCARIES.

I saw a rested baby and I saw two parents - present, lighter, laughing again.. even wondering.. should we try for another? (spoiler alert: we welcomed our baby boy a few months before our launch date)

The Story Behind the Name

CELEBRATING SUNDAYS

Sunday Littles is an ode to our most cherished day of the week. It’s a day where quality time with loved ones in your pajamas is plentiful, and play and peace take the place of life’s busy moments. The feelings of innocence and the simple comforts that go hand in hand with Sunday mornings is what inspired Sunday Littles and the thoughtful pieces we create.

Buttery-soft fabric

Our collection is made from 95% Bamboo Rayon and 5% Spandex, ensuring a touch that's as soft as drifting off to sleep.

Made from Bamboo Viscose

This fabric’s buttery-soft touch is beyond compare. We chose Bamboo Viscose not only for it’s incredible softness, but for it’s breathability, moisture-wicking capabilities and naturally soothing qualities.

Breathable in all seasons

Our fabric is breathable and thermoregulating, which keeps babies cool in summer and warm and cozy in winter. It also acts like a personal thermostat, keeping your baby's temperature 3 degrees cooler than standard cotton.

Hypoallergenic

Wrap yourself in comfort with our gentle bamboo fabric, specially designed for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Our hypoallergenic material is like a soothing hug for your little one’s skin.

Antimicrobial

Bamboo acts like a shield against those pesky germs on both clothing and skin. Grown without pesticides, this fabric is a natural warrior, resisting infecting pathogens to ensure your baby stays in the pink of health.

Designed to fit longer

We've carefully chosen a fabric weight that not only increases our piece’s durability, but also the fabric’s resistance to piling — gifting your little one’s (and their little siblings) comfort for years to come.
